This courtyard is located in the old street of Qionglai, Chengdu. The design attempts to create a unique spatial experience in a closed courtyard. The roofs of the traditional chinese settlement are turned upside down and hung over a mirror-like shallow pool. The first floor of the building is an exhibition space, and the second floor is a teahouse and book bar.
